The SCX24 Warthog Chassis features a Low Center of Gravity (LCG) design with multiple shock mount positions allowing for customized suspension tuning. It’s perfect for enhancing crawler climbing performance.

It includes a battery/receiver mounting base plate and an open rear cover design making it easy to arrange and adjust internal components. The front end of the top cover has five installation holes for LED lights and other accessories offering a fun assembly process and significantly boosting the performance of your SCX24.

SUGGESTIONS ON THE INTERNAL LAYOUT OF THE CHASSIS

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced RC enthusiast you can smoothly build the Warthog chassis. It’s important to understand that this chassis is designed for performance climbing. To reduce the weight of the upper part of the chassis we strongly recommend using smaller electronic devices (ESC receiver). Larger electronic devices may not fit due to their size which could affect performance. In the accessory recommendation information column we will provide suggestions on how to choose a receiver.
If you use an External Rotor Motor the receiver can be installed under the top cover above the gearbox and the small-sized ESC can be installed under the front cover (behind the servo). The 030/050 brushed motor can be installed in the same way as the External Rotor Motor and both the External Rotor Motor and brushed motor batteries can always be installed on the provided battery board at the rear of the chassis.
In addition to the installation layout mentioned above there are many ways to arrange the internal design of the Warthog frame. You can use your hands-on ability to create a more reasonable layout according to your needs.

Motor: External Rotor 2205/2204 Brushed 030/050 (not compatible with 180 motors)
Receiver/ESC: Please opt for a smaller mini receiver/ESC. (You can remove the receiver shell to reduce the size.)
Gearbox: Original or Upgraded Metal
Tires/Wheels: Diameter up to 60mm (1.0″ 1.2″ 1.3″ wheels); exceeding 60mm may cause interference
Shock: No length limit multi-hole adjustment
