Description
Important Reminder:
The 450 metal noise-reducing tail rotor blades are counter-rotating and are only compatible with the FL450 realistic helicopter of the FLISHRC V5 version. They cannot directly replace the old plastic tail rotor blades as the old plastic blades are regular-rotating.
If you want to use them on the FL450 helicopters of versions prior to FLISHRC V5 the following two conditions must be met:
The noise-reducing tail rotor blades have threads and can only be screwed into the tail motor shaft in a clockwise direction. Therefore you need to check whether the threads on your tail motor shaft are clockwise.
The motor must rotate counterclockwise. Before installation and use you must test to ensure that the tail motor rotates counterclockwise. (The tail motor of the older FLSHRC helicopters rotates clockwise. To reverse the direction of the tail motor you need to swap any two of the three wires of the tail motor and re-solder them to the connector.)
If the above two conditions are not met the helicopter will crash during flight due to the inability to lock the tail.
