The MOOER PRIME family has expanded with the addition of the MINIMAX series—the PRIME M2. The M2 inherits the MINIMAX series’ design philosophy of portability and integrated pedalboard, while also inheriting the powerful performance and rich features of the PRIME P2. Its compact, palm-sized design combines portability with practicality, making it an ideal choice for musicians exploring their musical inspiration and creativity.

The M2 retains the same 1.28-inch touchscreen display as the P2, while adding dual footswitches. The footswitches allow users to quickly switch patches, access the tuner, and access the looping interface, while the touchscreen handles more complex operations, including volume control, Bluetooth on/off, drum machine activation, and connecting an F4 wireless pedalboard, providing a rich and comprehensive control experience. With a lightweight body of only 228g and up to 6 hours of battery life, the M2 is easily adaptable for both daily practice and live performances.

In terms of interfaces, the M2 features a 1/4″ TS input, a 1/4″ TS dual-channel stereo output, a 3.5mm TRRS headphone jack that supports headphone output and vocal input when paired with TRRS headphones. A 3.5mm MIDI port supports connecting a MIDI controller for expanded functionality. The USB-C port can be used for charging, connecting to the MOOER STUDIO host software on a computer for sound editing, data management, firmware upgrades, and loading third-party IR files.

As a member of the PRIME family, the M2 also supports connection to the PRIME app for in-depth sound adjustment. It features 80 storable presets, 194 guitar and bass effect models, 56 drum machines, four metronomes, and 80-second recording loops. Algorithm-wise, the M2 shares the same Mooer third-generation integrated hardware system as the P2, supporting dynamic loading and module reuse of effects chains. It also supports cloud-based loading of M.N.R.S. samples, one-click downloading of user-uploaded sounds, and sharing of your own sound resources.

The M2 supports Bluetooth audio playback and OTG internal recording, allowing users to easily record and share their musical creations. Additionally, the M2 features an RGB light that displays input signal strength in real time, and allows for customizable lighting patterns via the app, adding a unique visual element to your performances.
